The sense of accomplishment one gets from completing a 2 hour long video essay - one that actually justifies its length - is unparalled. Six Feet Under is one of those special pieces of media that I'm amazed exists. Essential viewing imo. This retrospective was nice, since I probably couldn't commit to a full rewatch. Like I said - no streaming, so I suspect there won't be a lot of television viewing in 2026. I think that's fine, I already got a chance to see Pluribus during the holidays and there's nothing else cool on the horizon as far as I know. Maybe I'll have a second film-bro moment lol.
I was gonna link the classic double chubby clip in the image, but as I was looking for it I stumbled on this scene between Ruth and her sister. Like holy shit, dude. This show is full of these piercing moments.
